The Resound Parenting courses are practical, preventative, relationship-based courses which are friendly and accessible.
The courses have been developed by Care for the Family, a nationally recognized family support charity. The courses are open to all parents and provide a great opportunity to reflect on the parenting role, share experiences and problem solve together. Each course runs for six or eight weekly sessions and are available daytime or evening.

Parenting is full of highs and lows. Having someone to share these with can make all the difference. Parent buddies offer short term, informal support which is confidential. Our Parent Buddies are trained volunteers who offer parents, grandparents and carers support. If you need a listening ear and want to talk through a particular parenting issue Parent Buddies can offer you support within agreed timescales. Parents can either self-refer or be referred through agencies.
Resound is continuing to offer one-to-one support through our Parent Buddies service.

The Toddler Group offers an opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers to meet together in the spacious surroundings of the Resound auditorium and café. There is a wide variety of play equipment and craft activities available to occupy the children.
The Toddler Group is popular and provides a warm, friendly meeting space, and is supported by Resound volunteers. It meets on Thursdays between 10am-11.30am during term time.
